When our lovely, perfect little girl was born, my husband held her and cooed affectionately, "She looks just like a little Ghoulie!" Ghoulies, apparently, is a B (or perhaps C?) movie from the mid-80's. I know this now because he made me watch it with him, just to prove his point. There I sat, bored to death by the same tired haunted mansion story, when onto the screen pops -- my newborn?! No, a "Ghoulie"! But man, what a resemblance.

She is absolutely lovely!! And welcome to the ranks. We all have grand ideas about parenting....the babies have different ideas. Crying it out does not wrench your heart the 3rd time around as much as it will with your first. Hee hee.

We did the same thing with the planning on doing this and that and following through on NOTHING. She does sleep in her own crib, but now that she's old enough to ask for things, how can we say no to such a sweetie?
